Information the service handles
Account and security
When you create or use an account, the service handles your name, email address, verification state, protected sign-in credentials or linked Google account details, sessions, IP address, and browser user-agent. These details are used to authenticate you, secure the account, prevent abuse, and provide account recovery.
Tasks, credits, and support
When you use a tool, the service may record a sanitized local filename, file characteristics, private storage references, requested settings, task status, processor identifiers, quotes, credit reservations, and downloads. A direct media URL is checked and fetched for the requested task but neither the URL nor a filename derived from it is kept as URL history. If you email support, the service receives your address and the content you choose to send.
Orders and billing
When checkout is enabled, payment credentials are handled by the selected checkout provider rather than stored by this site. The service keeps the order amount, currency, product, credits or subscription state, provider references, refunds, and disputes needed to deliver and reconcile the purchase.
How files move
For browser-based image conversion, a local source file is decoded and converted on your device. A direct URL source passes through a bounded server fetch for safety checks and is not stored as URL history. A successfully settled result may be stored privately for download for up to 24 hours.
AI enhancement and server-side video conversion require a private upload. The source and result are associated with your account, are not published, and are scheduled to expire within 24 hours. You can request early media deletion from conversion history when that control is available.
When the corresponding production feature is enabled, image enhancement may send the private source to fal.ai and video enhancement may send it to Replicate. Video format conversion uses the site's FFmpeg worker. Private object storage and a checkout provider support storage and payment functions. Each provider also receives the technical data needed to deliver its part of the request.
Analytics disclosure
Vercel Web Analytics and, when configured, Google Analytics are part of the service's measurement. Their scripts may be requested when a page loads, and this site does not provide a control to disable analytics.
The site's custom events use fixed categories such as page type, language, device category, acquisition category, workflow stage, bounded file characteristics, credit range, and selected feedback choices. Vercel page views are reduced to the same fixed page categories. These signals are designed not to send media, filenames, email addresses, account or payment details, free text, raw page URLs, query strings, or raw referrers.
When Google Analytics is configured, Google may create its own client and session identifiers and receive browser, device, language, screen, network, and approximate-location information. Google processes this information under its own terms and privacy documentation. Google Signals, advertising storage, and ad-personalization signals are disabled by this site's tag configuration.
Vercel Web Analytics receives bounded page-view signals and may receive browser, device, network, and approximate-location information needed to produce traffic statistics. Vercel processes this information under its own privacy notice.
How long data remains
- Private media
- Source and result objects used by server-side workflows are scheduled for deletion within 24 hours and may be deleted earlier. The sanitized local filename and task facts remain in conversion history after the files are gone, until the account is deleted.
- Account identity
- Account information remains while the account is active. A deletion request starts a seven-day cancellation window; after that, identity, task history, and private media are removed as the deletion workflow completes.
- Minimal commercial facts
- After account deletion, de-identified order, credit, subscription, refund, and dispute facts may be retained for seven years from the latest commercial event. An open dispute or another required hold may extend that period.
Choices and requests
The available controls depend on the data and the state of the task. A request may be limited where a record must be retained to secure the service, resolve a dispute, or meet an applicable obligation.
- The service does not provide a setting to disable Vercel Web Analytics or configured Google Analytics.
- Download private results during their availability window or delete retained media early from conversion history.
- Schedule account deletion in Settings and cancel it during the seven-day window.
- Email support to ask about access, correction, deletion, or another privacy concern.
